Then I made lunch for 3 days! Normally I rely on Rick to do all of the cooking, but I've decided to make more of an effort to prepare my own food. Nothing fancy, but now I've got a mix of rice and veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red bell peppers) for the next 3 days, woot!
Then I went grocery shopping and filled our kitchen with healthy foods. Lately, Rick and I have become obsessed with cuties, we can't get enough of 'em!
One of the healthy foods I picked up was brussels sprouts! A few weeks ago, I pinned a recipe for brussels sprouts chips that I found at A Beautiful Mess, and I've been dying to try it out. Result: They were delicious! I'm actually thinking about making another batch.
Then I worked on some simple jewelry to honor my hometown (Huntsville, Texas), my previous city (College Station, Texas), and my current city (Portland, Oregon), thereby crossing off #11 on my list! This has also given me a great idea for inexpensive gifts I can make for friends and family. I've got a variety of maps on-hand, and if I ever need more, my favorite craft store Scrap always has a ton available at 2 for 25 cents.
Yay for productivity! Now to get to that origami...
OMG. I want a Huntsville necklace!
